Reply to "Ontario Northland Train"

The railroad was almost lost in 2012, when the Ontario government made a tentative decision to divest itself of the railroad. After determining that this would be very costly, in 2014 the determination was made to continue supporting the railroad, and in fact make some improvements, including adding some new passenger cars for the famous Polar Bear Express. Good news. The railroad also has some other unique cars beside the canoe cars. The new train also carries some equipment not commonly found on passenger trains, including chain cars (flat cars) for passenger vehicles.

Another option for a ON car - a Lionel scale PS-2 hopper, which was part of a LCCA 2-car set. I have this set, and the car is very nice.
