Open Hogwarts Express Passenger Car?

Does anyone know if the Hogwarts Express passenger cars can be opened? I was hoping to redecorate the insides for a Halloween layout, but as much as I have tried poking, prying, and twisting, I'm at a loss as to how to get in there.

Any advice?
