Operations in a small space...YES you can! No room for a layout? YES you do...Theme? YES. Purpose? YES. Involvement/Participation and fun for you? Absolutely!

Because my last video has been highly popular, with over 675 views in the last 96 hours, I created another operational video FOR A SMALL SPACE.  People are always saying that they have no room for a layout; especially one that has an operations theme--NOT true!

My first video: trailing vs. facing point moves is now complimented by a relatively simple layout plan in a small area---an 8 by 4 sheet of 2-inch thick piece of Styrofoam.  I picked this material because it is incredibly easy to move it, even with track affixed to the surface.  You could even have a smaller area, in O scale, and accomplish outstanding results with DESIGN planning.

This new video:  OPERATIONS DESIGN, small space gives a brief presentation on this particular layout DESIGN and track arrangement.  The operational scheme is also explained.

Design means among many other things: theme for your plan, where it is, what it is, what it will be doing--purpose and what you and others will be doing--active participation in the layout, NOT merely an observer.
