Reply to "Out-of-Warranty repair for Legacy 990 Base {6-14295} Won't transmit from U post to track, otherwise OK"

My 990 cab2 started doing the backwards throttle thing with the control knob when I would try to throttle up my engines. I called Lionel and the nice lady told me the 990 set has a lifetime warranty since they are the only ones that can fix issues. She told me it would be about 8 weeks before I get it back. I have my old cab 1 I can use until then...20 plus years old and still works perfectly.
