Overhead Lighting for Layout

Just assembled benchwork for my layout in the basement. Looking for a recommendation for overhead lighting. I just came from Costco and Home Depot and looked at LED and fluorescent lighting fixtures. Costco has some 4 foot LED lights that are on sale for $31.99. HD has both fluorescent and LED fixtures although they sell for a bit more. I'm thinking I'm going to need at least 8 four foot fixtures to properly illuminate this area over the layout. The LED's from Costco and HD state that "no bulbs are needed" - they have LED strips instead of bulbs - how do these hold up over time???

I'd like to have some forum members to recommend what they use for overhead lighting and possibly a link as to where they can be purchased.
