I mostly use acrylic. Paint structures made of model quality wood, styrene, resin and plaster. Im not like a 3rd grader art project mash the brush. Been building for years. I can go to my paint brushs that are 20 years old and they are in nicer shape than brushes 6 months. Even the tiny brushes used for painting fine details end up fraying or tip forms to one side. I have tried the cheap bag of 10,000 brushes for a quarter as well as spent $10-15 a brush. I dont have a problem spending money for a quality item, i'm tired of spending more money for the same brush because it has a lacquered handle and 2 gold stripes. I have not mentioned any names of brushes because it is not my intentions to bash a manufacture. I'm surely not the only one who thinks the quality of brushes have gone down the drain? I'm up to try any brand, just tired of painting a fine line and have "curb feeler" marks along side my line. Thanks for any input to try.
