Pete, I read somewhere that the Lackawanna kept the trees on Paradise Curve cut down so passengers could look out on the distant Delaware Water Gap. Nice model work; good luck with the transition to S gauge!

That they did Artie, thanks for the words of encouragement. Wait until you see the 10 American Models Budd cars I am going to paint for my two E8's. It won't be The Phoebe Snow, but it will be one of the other name trains. My version is going to have rpo, coach, six dome coach, diner, observation. MOW gray, maroon, yellow stripe's and black roof. Decals will be Maroon lettering, I might have circus city decals make the yellow stripe which would be easier than masking and painting.

I was thinking on this one, The Twilight Limited. It was train #5, pulled by two E8's, left Hoboken at at 4:50 pm. I can also take the observation car off and use two train masters and run it as The Mountain Special on weekends. This train only went to Scranton and back to Hoboken in the summer months.

I can honestly say I am having fun again, maybe this change is what I needed. Plus keeping it to only ten engines helps too. In DL&W it will be two E8's and two train masters, L&NE will be two RS-2's, Reading will be F7 AB and two steam engines which will be Paradise Valley. Fifteen passenger cars and 100 freight cars.
