The springs needed is to hold brushes when I change them, unless not needed if not broken. I think i need to change the motor/armature because when running has this smell. I took apart and cleaned everything possible and lube areas as per manual. It almost seems like the front area does not roll smoothly as to the rear when moving with fingers. Last resort it to find a repair shop. I like troubleshooting first if i can. Let me know what you think or need more information. Take care and be safe
Supplement 26, Page 8 (attached) has the exploded motor view with part numbers
Check the motor shaft worm gear on the axle gear for binding a fresh lube. yes, these will have that motor smell, but, not like when you let the smoke out.
