Reply to "Pasting something into a message"

"I too do it almost daily.  Never had it repeat it's self multiple times. 

  1. Highlight the text you want to copy.
  2. Press <CNTRL-C> to COPY the text to the clipboard.
  3. Go to the post where you want to paste the text.
  4. Place your cursor where you want the text to appear.
  5. Press <CNRTL-V> to paste the text into the post.
  6. Highlight the text you want to copy.
  7. Press <CNTRL-C> to COPY the text to the clipboard.
  8. Go to the post where you want to paste the text.
  9. Place your cursor where you want the text to appear.
  10. Press <CNRTL-V> to paste the text into the post.
  11. Highlight the text you want to copy.
  12. Press <CNTRL-C> to COPY the text to the clipboard.
  13. Go to the post where you want to paste the text.
  14. Place your cursor where you want the text to appear.
  15. Press <CNRTL-V> to paste the text into the post."

 

Just copied and pasted above from Tom T on a Mac. (Then I went back and added quotation marks and italicized) On Mac it's Command C and Command V. In case you are a complete novice, to highlight put cursor at beginning, press mouse or touch pad and hold while you drag to end of what you want to copy. Then release. It will be highlighted (blue for me). Then Command V (on Mac)

Why it repeated for Tom T is beyond me. Possibly a sticky key?
