I've been interested in controlling the TIU via a PC mainly to automate my layout. For instance, entering and leaving a switchback. It's annoying to use the remote for this all the time. Another is automatically sending the watchdog signal when a siding is powered up (i.e. Andrino or something throws a relay to apply power, and then commands the TIU to send the watchdog).
