GG1Jonathon - Interesting point regarding the last Belpaire firebox steam locomotive in operation in the US. Still operating in the summer of 1959 in Canada/Manitoba were a handfull of Belpaire firebox 2-8-2's on the Canadian National and some 2-8-0's and 4-6-0's on the Nacionales de Mexico.
