Peter Witt Streetcar Questions

Just picked one up for my grandson. He has a FasTrack setup with a recent LionChief / Bluetooth train set. I know he can't use the fixed voltage power supply so my questions are.

1. Should I get him a used Lionel Transformer and make a barrel connector cable with spade lugs on the transformer end or some other means or other transformer? [These streetcars have an electronic E Unit onboard and a bell].

2. He has the San Francisco streetcar, but there is no writing on it. Has anyone found additional decals that look good on these units and if so where?

3. Is it even worth trying to put people inside of it? It looks to me like the amputations will show through the low windows. Not sure
