Finally adding pickups to a couple tenders and have two questions. A PTC isn’t like a capacitor, so it doesn’t matter which way it is wired into the line. Correct? And I seem to remember from somewhere that the new hot wire to the engine should be accompanied with a new ground from the tender. Can’t see why this is necessary. Is it different if adding a pickup to a new command control installation in the tender versus one that just has a conventional electronic reverse unit located there? Thanks.
