I guess you never plan on adding to it? I ran 14 for all my track runs from the terminal blocks to the transformers and from the terminal blocks to the track. I did use some 16 for dropping below the table in some spots and then connected to the 14. All switches are wired from transformer to switch with 16, 18 and in some extreme cases (2 I think) I used 20 gauge.
