Pin fell out of open door on Acela Please help identifying

Good Morning,

I have 2 Acela Sets. I put one on display with the doors open. When I handled one of the cars. a pin fell out of an open door. I looked at parts pictures and listing on Lionel Support side and did not see this piece. I speculate it is part of the door mechanism.

I am asking for the Acela Fella or someone else to identify the piece and point me in the right direction.

I could probably figure it out when I disassemble the car, but thought someone might know.
