Not to turn this thread into a nostalgia trip...but A. B Charles was REALLY the berries. I grew up with that place and loved my many hours spent there. Old A.B. himself was not above talking with a penniless kid.

As an adult, I also loved the Iron Horse in Bridgeville. The owner was nowhere near as nice as A. B. but the selection of 0 scale and the walls lined with pre-war standard and 0 made for some great visits.
