What curves you going to run and what kind of track?
Are you going to run Legacy?

Great Nate! Let me tell you what I'm planning to do on my new layout:
The Layout is going to have ten tracks on four different levels five of the tracks will be powered by Legacy, and the other five will be conventional. The five Legacy "mainline loops" will have at least 0-72 curves and will go through both rooms of my basement. These five tracks are located on two levels of the layout, three on the upper level, and two on the lower level to save space and add eye catching perspective as well as enabling two more long legacy trains to run on the layout. I will be primarily be using Atlas brand track for the "mainline loops". For the five shorter one - room conventional loops, I will be using Lionel brand tubular track. Both Atlas and Tubular tracks are very durable and dependable and I like them better than Fastrack, however, you have to put ballast on Atlas and Tubular which takes longer.
