Dave, the pylon is an o scale acessory but like most of Lionel's accessories the figure, Santa in this case, is not. The Hallmark Polar Express ornament is also not O scale but it was a perfect replacement for the original Santa sleigh. The Hallmark Santa and his bag of toys are not removable. I kept the original reindeer which are in scale with the sleigh.

the Hallmark sleigh had no reindeer so I lucked out.

i just thought this was a better representation of Santa since it fits in well with my Polar Express Christmas theme not to mention my 10th Anniversary Polar Express Berkshire that I was lucky to get!
