Polar Express Combo Car - Footprints Backwards?

I’m hardly a “rivet counter” but I am definitely self-professed OCD. I can’t find anyone else here or on Facebook/internet that’s talking about this, so either I really am making too much of this or I’m missing something?

The footprints on top of the combination car (added this year to our living room/Christmas tree layout) are backwards when the car is placed baggage to the lead, which, as far as I can tell, is almost universally correct?

What am I missing here?
