Polar Express locomotive question

Hi,

I have a Polar Express set, purchased around 2008, model 6-31960. I need to find a replacement metal handrail and one handrail post that broke off. Also, I see there were a few different locomotives produced and was wondering how to tell which is mine and if I have the one with the smaller motor.
