I had to dig through my photos to find this, ....I live deep back in the woods, so internet kinda stinks, .....it’s hard for me to open Lionel’s web site, in fact it’s miserable.....but I did save this pic,....this is the part you’re looking for if the RF&P Berk is built same as the TMCC Berk, ....again, I just don’t know, so I can’t say for sure .....more than likely they are, but I’d confirm before ordering a bunch of parts.....I’m not sure what you’re looking at as far as what you’re saying is attached to the body...rarely is a pilot attached to a scale boiler casting, it’s usually a separate part altogether,....maybe you’re looking at the wrong loco?....the scale Pol-Ex I’m referencing is item # 6-84685 here’s a pic of the Pol-Ex pilot:
