I've been attempting to post a reply (Firefox browser and Dell laptop computer) including photos and a video to the OGR Forum during the day and evening on Tuesday, January 30, 2024. On Tuesday evening, I attempted to upload a post having two photos (about 1.5 MB each) and one video (about 35MB) between about 6 PM and 12 Midnight EST. On numerous attempts (probably 10), the photos are taking unusually long times upload and process. On other attempts, the uploads are fast (say one second) but the processing step takes a long time (a few minutes). The video has been failing altogether. The video upload may be quick (less than one minute) but the processing step takes excessively long (say 5 or 10 minutes) and the posted video window either appears black or turns black when playback is attempted from the Forum. I've had enough for tonight and will try again on Wednesday morning.
I've posted thousands of replies, photos and videos on the OGR Forum since 2016. The photographs have been taken with the same I-phone I've been using for years and they play properly on my Dell computer, which I've been using for three years. Uploading as described above also seems to be erratic lately - not just on 01/30/2024. Has anyone else had problems lately?
