I would add the RS11 is the first all NEW locomotive from AM about 10 years.

The Train Masters and U25B's were the last new diesel locomotives, released in 2005 or thereabouts as I recall. (At least that's the earliest I have pictures for them.) The E8's first came out in 2001. I clock the Northern as a 2006 release.
