Premier vs. RailKing

I have traditionally collected RailKing for my layout. There is an Alco S-2 diesel , however, that I want that is sold only in Premier. An S-2 is not a particularly long locomotive. I can spring for the money but would a Premier engine look out of place on a layout that is more typically Railking and Lionel legacy postwar? Specifically, is the size/scale significantly larger for the Premier? If that is the case, I may still buy the engine but use it for display only. I know it will run on O gauge track. My track is Super O with O -36 curves.
