One thing that the M&GL is struggling with is the decision to sell their Great Lakes Car Ferry. They do not want to "moth ball" it for years, in hope to put it back into service. If they sell it they can use the revenue from the purchase to quickly acquire more land and track. If they keep it they will need to find a place to it dock it.
