I have not found the set that my grandfather bought before WWII. It consists of 1666e loc, 2689W tender, 2680 tanker, 2679 baby ruth, 2682 caboose. The transformer was a 1040. I believe that he bought it out of the window display at Wards, so the transformer may not be original. I have the box for the transformer but not the set. Had it come in a box he would have kept it! He got a bascule bridge in the box, also a marx light tower.

Was there a freight set of these cars? As close as I have seen is a set with a different loc/tender.
