Private Messaging is only available to Digital Subscribers. It's one of the perks of being a digital subscriber. If the person to whom you are sending the PM is not a digital sub, they will never see it.

Rich, if the person isn't a Digital Subscriber, the option doesn't appear in their profile when you click on it. That being the case, if he managed to actually send a PM, the person must have been a digital subscriber, right?
