In a poor design, the electrical for the motors ignition system might cause issues if not sheilded well too.
With the hood up, my pals hot rodded 65 Nova would scramble radios and tvs for about 50 yards easy when ran without resistor wiring to the cap and plugs. Hood down was better because of all the aluminum heat shielding, but on the race ignitions start-up, we still checked with neighbors beforehand.
