Just tossing it out there, is it possible that there is a variation in when the watchdog occurs between different production runs of the DCS-RC? maybe all the previously tested ones send a watchdog at 800ms, but some other variation sends it at 900 or 1000ms? Just guessing at things, but figured I'd throw it out there.
