Sorry, John, but express / mail storage cars were used most often in passenger service, so what you are looking at in your picture is probably Tuscan Red, not Freight Car color, IMO. I have also attached some info about PRR paints that I gathered from the internet. That document provides a little more detail on how the "shades" of some particular colors varied over the years.
