Yes. It’s automotive primer. A bit finer grained that run of the mill primer. The chemistry is more suitable too.

After stripping the old paint, it left the surface with plenty of tooth In the brass for painting. A couple washes with soap and air dry.

I’ll post a few pix of the trucks later for Bob
