I have ridden behind Pennsy GG1's and also Pennsy-leased steam on the great LIRR in the 1940's and early fifties. Great memories!

I remember standing next to GG1's giving off a lot of heat at 30th Street Station, also when I was young. I assume that would have been from the traction motors. Yes, good memories. I think the station had a good arcade section, important for a youngster!
