PS-3 vs BCR charge up time...

I don't have a PS-3 engine, but do have several PS-2 with a BCR I have added to replace the battery. With the added BCR I wait about a minute letting the engine set at 18 volts to charge it up so to speak. My question to you, is, do I need to wait if I had a PS-3 engine for a certain period of time, too?

Just wondering...
