Reply to "PS-3 vs BCR charge up time..."

George,

I have many P2 engines with BCR's installed in them, after I let them change the 1st time for about a minute, they usually power up in less than 10 seconds, I just got my new P3 NASA Switcher, and do not know how fast the built in Super Cap takes to allow proper function of the engine.   I hear it's almost an immediate start up once the Engine has been on the tracks for 15 seconds the very 1st time.  I do not have my  DCS layout set up right now, I am looking to see how this new P3 engine start up works out myself.  In reality this is my 1st P3 engine, after hearing about some the troubles with the 1st P3 engines, I stayed with the P2's as long as I could.  In fact I would not mind picking up the P2 NASA #2 Engine some time, the NASA #3 Engine however, only comes in P3.
