Pullman Observation Car - Columbian Exposition 1893

Was at the Art Institute of Chicago this evening. It's been a long while since I had been there. Used to go all the time when I was a kid and the Thorne Gallery of Miniatures was one of my favorites. It was neat to see this one amongst all the other modeled rooms. All the displays were set back into the wall with a framed window. This one was about 24" deep by 12" wide. The details and the time invested in making this miniature model is boggling.
