Reply to "Question about Lion Chief"

With the soon to be available LionChief universal remote, there is little need to have Lion Chief Plus unless you resolutely hate to use a remote.  You can combine conventional running locos and Lion Chief quite easily on a layout/Christmas tree display, controlling each independently, the conventional loco with the transformer and the Lion Chief with its remote.  Of course, when you cut power down to nothing, both stop .  But that's true of any combination.
