Points taken. What I meant was that given the ability to combine Lion Chief (or Lion Chief Plus) in command mode with conventional locos, there is little advantage to Lion Chief Plus over Lion Chief when combining conventional and command modes. And the universal remote means you can easily control several Lion Chief or Lion Chief Plus locos simultaneously with conventional locos, somewhat more conveniently than up until now. Sorry for being potentially misleading. My point here was rather that Lion Chief and Lion Chief Plus are equally compatible with conventional operation when used in command mode.
