Don’t just use one color as it comes from the bottle, custom mix a few drops in a bottle cap for each figure. Not everyone has the same skin tones. I knew people whose hobby was figure painting and they swore by artist’s oil colors, and would spend days or weeks on a figure. The oil paint was very slow drying, and could be blended even after several days. For me, cheap acrylics from the craft store work well enough, even though they dry in a few minutes. I just don’t have the patience to invest several day painting each figure.
