Completely changing the subject- I am just getting around to doing a photo review of the Silver Lady "Aspen Nose" PA's from Key Model Imports 2010 run!

Thanks, Erik. Good to see that great old models don't die! Jim Seacrest is a long-tenured Burlington enthusiast and has a perpetual want ad in Model Railroader for O Scale equipment. Thought for sure I had seen a Burlington 2-8-8-2 along with the two T2 2-6-6-2's at that Chicago March meet. Maybe I was suffering delusions!  "Bernie" was a prolific builder and built something like 125 Burlington O Scale locomotives, so possibly he built more then one 2-8-8-2. He is the author of the definitive work on CB&Q motive power, Steam Locomotives of the Burlington Route.
