Used to take the Regional into Williamsburg where my daughter lives but its a much longer trip--lose time through the yards and heading into downtown Richmond. My son in law works in Richmond and picks me up at Staples Mill, quite the station. Its on the main Amtrak line so more than the two a day to Williamsburg. The one I would take is currently annulled due to low ridership with the pandemic. The roomette costs more but is much more comfortable than coach. Lots of railroad activity--you should make a trip back to Richmond.
