This one along with a few others Pat is running are my ideas. I'm glad the orders seem to be strong for these Northern Michigan special runs.
Hopefully there will be opportunity for other short line product from MTH. Lionel certainly isn't interested in the smaller numbers.
Regarding the process, it needs to be something that people want to add to their collections at the numbers in a run that can be sold. Otherwise it's not worth the risk to shops like Pat's. Then the work begins to make sure that the product markups are as close to perfect as possible. I think it's worth noting that MTH does a real nice job with matching colors.
