Hello Tinplate World ....1927 NYC introduces what is to become one of the best loved & modeled steam engines the Hudson. Thomas Randall of Chicago ...may have been the first to offer the Hudson to the model train world with his standard gauge casting kits ...... you were left up to your own ingenuity to build and power it ..( not for the weak of heart) .

Here we have a Randall Hudson built with old castings in the 1970's by Henry Dunseith ...with the help of 3 machinists over the course of several years ...billed hourly ....
