I am going out on a limb here. It's my opinion that more Connecticut Company trolley cars have been saved and preserved than any other company's trolley cars. Why is this?

193 and 775 are the same car. It was backdated to its original number and details while I was an active operator there. I've run the car in both configurations.

As for the question, it may be that the Shore Line Trolley Museum was one of the first streetcar museums, getting its start while streetcars were still running (albeit dwindling in number). The line was even connected to the functioning ConnCo network for a short while until service on the line leading into it was discontinued and pulled up.
