What's nice about Flyer chief is that you really don't have to change the wires, just start it in reverse, and that way you can run the long hood forward. I just got my Reading GP-7 last week also along with a Norfolk Southern Baldwin. As a kid I always ran the Flyer GP-7 with the long hood forward, Back than it look right to me, now it doesn't matter.
