Real Trains: Is NS using NJ Transit engines for power?

I spotted this train heading south toward Harrisburg yesterday, along the eastern shore of the Susquehanna river near Dauphin. It was odd seeing a NJ Transit engine so far from its home territory and was wondering if NS uses them for power or if it may have been just being transported somewhere for other reasons?
