Have you ever had to keep an eye on weather radar during such operating sessions?
I know on occasion I've used it to see if I had time to run an errand in advance of an approaching thunderstorm. Other times I've left the house without an umbrella while storms were dumping buckets of rain nearby--because they were moving parallel to the state line and weren't getting any closer to the city before the tail end passed.
