Reply to "Remove chassis on American Flyer 655"

The chassis is held on by small ribbed pins. Remove all wheels and set aside. VERY CAREFULLY heat the head of the pin with a soldering gun. Once hot pull the chassis up slightly thus pulling the pin up so you can get a good grip on it and pull it straight out easily. Just push them back in to reinstall the chassis.
