My attempt at the A&WP 290 - I bought this K-line Pacific already weathered - but was able to match the weathering from where I stripped it to the metal to re-letter it. Pretty pleased. I know it ain't dead on, but it is close. Especially for the first try. It is my favorite locomotive and I wish K-line was still in business. I just bought an MTH Mikado that I plan to changing over to Frisco #4018. They look pretty close too. I wouldn't mind getting one of those Weaver 2-8-0's an re-lettering it as the Southern #630 and moving the belt to the front of the boiler - that would be closer than what Lionel just put out!
