Just tried mine again on 2 different layouts with 2 different TIUs and it worked well.

I usually find that if there's a problem, it's with the WIFI settings on what I'm using for control (phone, or tablet.)

Mine doesn't work well unless it's talking directly to the TIU without any home router.
