Bill, the tender idle sounds comes on immediately when power is applied to the track. Last week it would remain silent until I addressed the locomotive as normal. The locomotive responds with flickering lights when I hit the programing numbers but the tender is unresponsive...

A visual inspection from below shows the wires looking normal. What could have happened in transit to cause the connection to be lost if the wiring is still intact?

I've not opened her up yet as I'm not really comfortable doing that. Will if I have to but don't know what to look for beyond an obvious broken wire!
